“ Of course it’s more personal when you know the people. This couple was amongst our closest friends in Amsterdam, and they were having a fairy tale wedding at a CASTLE in Zeeland, The Netherlands! That just added to my overall stress level as nothing less than perfect was good enough for them. I love getting involved in a project like this, designing a logo and a theme for their wedding means utilizing all my experience. Digital capabilities let us get approval and work with customers literally around the world. Their instructions were “the theme is red, and we want a logo.” Maybe I overdid it, but I prepared over 20 renditions of logos for them to choose from. I was surprised when they picked a more contemporary one but pleased at how well it went from invitation, save the date, thank you’s, to gift of cuff links, hats, aprons and coasters.
